Degree Requirements
The Master of Urban Design offers two entry pathways.
- Pathway 1 targets those with recognised qualifications like a Bachelor's degree or a graduate certificate/diploma in certain areas. Qualifications in urban planning, design, or property development are necessary, with a credit average required.
- Pathway 2 is for applicants without a Bachelor's degree but with a relevant graduate certificate or diploma and at least 3 years of work experience in specified fields. These applicants must submit a CV and a personal statement.
People without urban planning background can apply. Those with relevant work experience but no formal qualification might qualify for the Graduate Certificate in Urban Planning and Design. This certificate can lead to the Master of Urban Design.
Applicants with unrelated bachelor degrees can also apply. They should start with the Graduate Certificate in Urban Planning and Design. This certificate provides access to the master's course. The program includes urban planning subjects to ensure a comprehensive understanding of urban design.
